That’s a wrap for our first film: They Come in Colors.
Honestly this was an experience that I am incredibly grateful for. Last year, I knew in my heart that I wanted to create films dedicated towards Mental Health Awareness. I stressed that these films will break the stigma towards mental health and provide hope. My dad, who has been the greatest supporter in this process believed in me. And together we created Latin Media Group LLC.
This film started out as a very short film called good girls in honor of my friend: Hannah Bouchard.
Shortly after we kick started pre production, it became so much bigger. This film became a community. We held events with incredible speakers/ performers to help spread awareness. We collaborated with amazing Anxiety influencers, Anxiety Coaches, and therapists who were kind enough to offer resources. We are now creating a website where this film will be offered for free. This website will share additional motivational videos to help educate our viewers on the topic of anxiety, and to help them connect with inspiring therapists/ coaches/ speakers who are willing to help and provide support.
Again, to all of our donors/ supporters. This wouldn’t have been possible without YOU.
I also want to give an enormous thank you to my dad, my brother, and my sister. Because they’ve honestly worked tirelessly with me since the beginning. When I wasn’t sleeping, they took some of that stress. When I was struggling with the campaign, they were the first to help me and inspire me to keep pushing. During production, they ran around everywhere making sure that my team and I were well fed and comfortable. They are the ones who may seem unnoticed, but they were MY ROCK in this entire process. None of this would have been possible without their love. Thank you
